An enhanced golf holiday insurance option will insure your golf equipment for loss and theft up to a certain value, say £1000. With standard golf insurance policies the maximum you can claim per item may be as low as £250 which would not be sufficient to cover most sets of golf clubs. Check that your golf holiday travel insurance will cover loss of green fees. This will mean that you are covered for loss of green fees. For example up to £50 per day, up to a maximum of £250 for the unused portion of pre-paid green fees that you arranged before you departed if you need to cancel your golf holiday for medical reasons.
